Hosted by the North Carolina GWRRA, Wings Over the Smokies is the GWRRA, Region N, North Carolina District's Gold Wing Rally in Fletcher, NC. Wings Over the Smokies draws over 5,000 people and more than 100 vendors that cater to motorcyclists. The event draws riders and exhibitors from across the country.

About GWRRA - The Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) is an organization for owners and riders of Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie motorcycles. Members enjoy the freedom of belonging to a non-profit, non-religious and non-political social organization of motorcycle enthusiasts.
GWRRA was founded in 1977 and has grown through US, Canada and international members with some 4,000+ volunteer leaders working to foster safe, enjoyable riding while improving the public image of motorcycling.
Chapter NC - G "High Point Wings", is one of several local chapters of the GWRRA in North Carolina. We hold our monthly meetings at Pioneer Family Restaurant at 10914 N. Main St. in Archdale, NC at 7:30 every 1st Thursday of the month. Currently, Chapter G has approximately 41 members.
The members of Chapter G plan rides all over North Carolina and the region.
